However, there are some minor side effects of the stop smoking vaccine that is redness and tenderness at the injection site while some experienced flu-like symptoms but that was resolved within 24 hours.

Although the addictive smoker has attempted to quit smoking numerous times, the percentage of those who actually manage to quit and become smoke free is still pretty low.Many of them attempt nicotine replacement therapy, counseling and sometimes antidepressants but only one in every 20 smokers succeeds in quitting in the long run.

Certain other companies ,apart from Cytos , such as Xenova Group,Nabi Biopharmaceuticals and Prommune also are working on a vaccine to stop smoking. The vaccine to stop smoking may just become a truly revolutionary treatment that will help the addictive smoker quit for good and increase the number of those who have stopped smoking once and for all.
