How You Can Overcome Shyness
“Thinking” is one of the biggest reasons why it’s hard to overcome shyness.
Cerebral is when you plan things out and strategize like a chess game, it’s also where you have inner dialogue going. When Robert Downey Jr in the new movie Sherlock Holmes thinks of all the ways he’ll it the guy and does it he’s thinking cerebral.
A FASTER and different way of thinking is behavioral. When you go jogging and naturally avoid the rock in your path you’re not thinking “There’s a rock…if I go right I get this outcome, if I go left I’ll get another outcome”. If you did think it through it would be too late and you’d trip on the rock.
The problem is that shy men approach the social game at a cerebral level when it’s a behavioral game…it causes shy men to “trip on that rock” so-to-speak. To overcome shyness we have to approach this differently.
Behavioral thinking is the platform that “Social Game” sits on. One of the ways to get to that level is by learning conversation skills and applying them when we’re out…and getting feedback through the behaviors of others.
It’s IMPORTANT to have conversations in order to get behavioral feedback. Do you feel that you need to learn conversation skills and not only that you’d like advice on overcoming shyness, attract more friends, handle bullies and become a more social man? Then you need to browse over to my blog www.surfsocialwaves.com/blog that I continuously update with high-quality articles you won’t find anywhere else.
